Christopher Labos


Dr. Labos completed his cardiology residency at McGill University before completing a master’s degree in epidemiology, also at McGill. His research interests include genetic risk scores for risk prediction and cardiac risk factor epidemiology.

During his training he also became interested in how medical information is disseminated to the public. He obtained a Fellowship in Global Journalism from the Munk School at the University of Toronto and has now joined the McGill Office for Science and Society and co-hosts a podcast called The Body of Evidence.

He is a freelance contributor for the Montreal Gazette, CJAD, and has also appeared on CBC Radio and CBC Television.
